Via 313 started as a love letter to Detroit — the city, the culture, and above all, the pizza.

Founded in 2012 by brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt, Via 313 was built on a simple belief: that Detroit-style pizza — with its crispy, caramelized cheese crust, airy yet chewy dough, and bold sauce — deserved a place in Texas. What began as a humble trailer operation quickly became a beloved institution.

The Trailer Dream Begins

Brandon and Zane Hunt launch Via 313 from a food trailer at a local Austin bar, serving their grandmother's Detroit-style pies to curious Texas crowds.

2014

Texas Loves Detroit Pizza

Lines stretch around the trailer every weekend. Via 313 earns city-wide press and a cult following of dedicated pizza fans.

2016

First Brick-and-Mortar Location

Via 313 opens its first restaurant location, bringing the full Detroit dining experience — steel pans, neon signs, and all — to a permanent home.

2019

Expanding Across Texas

Multiple new locations open across Texas, bringing the Via 313 experience to more cities and thousands of new fans.

2022

Webster, TX Opens

Via 313 plants roots in Webster, TX at 1065 W Bay Area Blvd — bringing Detroit-style pizza to the Bay Area community with our biggest, boldest space yet.

2024

Franchise Program Launches
